Born in 1980 in Tallinn. Ph.D. from the Estonian Academy of Arts, Institute of Art History (Estonian Cinescapes: Spaces, Places and Sites in Soviet Estonian Cinema (and Beyond), 2011). Executive editor of the journal of the Estonian Society of Art Historians, Studies in Art And Architecture (2003-2004, 2005-2006), publisher of the Estonian Academy of Arts (since 2007). Member of the editorial board of Studies in Eastern European Cinema.
